Sav Souza is a queer Philadelphia-based theater artist. For this design, they requested a logo for social media that expressed their queer identity, while using their signature curls as the focal point.
Additional Concepts
The original sketch. We eventually abandoned the bowtie.
Another concept including both the bowtie and Sav's last name. At this point, the hair was finalized.
A more illustrative approach. We both agreed it wasn't where we wanted the logo to be, but it was fun nonetheless!
