who, me?

I am an illustrator and designer working to explore themes of gender, sexuality, class, race, and spirituality and their relation to the physical space we inhabit. As a rural queer transgender man, my work often springs from my feeling of being neither fully here nor there, but rather in a place in-between or outside all together.

my work

I use folk art such as embroidery in addition to traditional illustration and design techniques to bring abstract passions into focus. Creating a clear, dynamic visual experience to accompany complex ideas brings me joy. Through my practice, I want folks to be able to see themselves, their experiences, and their thoughts represented in all their weird in-between splendor.
